Biography
Dr James Wilson is a highly experienced Consultant Clinical Oncologist. He specialises in lung cancer, skin cancer, stereotactic radiotherapy (SABR), immunotherapy, and metastatic disease, offering rapid access to expert second opinions and personal, clear cancer care.
Dr Wilson earned his DPhil at the University of Oxford, researching advanced imaging and precision therapy. He trained at the Royal Marsden Hospital and previously held NHS consultant and academic roles, including Academic Clinical Lecturer at The Institute of Cancer Research and Honorary Associate Professor at UCL. He continues to contribute to top-level multidisciplinary care in oligometastatic diseases and radiotherapy.
Dr Wilson is passionate about advancing cancer treatment through his clinical practice and research, with a focus on improving outcomes for patients with thoracic malignancies and metastatic disease.
Dr Wilson is known for his reassuring and jargon-free communication and provides clarity, confidence and control to patients throughout their treatment journey.
