What is RapidArc Dynamic and Hypersight?
RapidArc Dynamic (RAD) is an advanced radiotherapy technology that enables precise, high-dose radiation delivery to tumours in a single, continuous rotation of the treatment machine. This approach significantly shortens treatment sessions and enhances protection of healthy tissues. In breast radiotherapy, RAD has reduced treatment planning time from hours to minutes. Its ability to dynamically adjust the beam’s shape, intensity, and angle in real time minimises radiation exposure to surrounding healthy organs while further reducing overall treatment time.
HyperSight enhances the capabilities of RapidArc Dynamic by delivering fast, high-resolution diagnostic grade CT imaging that provides doctors and professional staff the ability to see more than ever before. This improves visualisation and dose calculation accuracy, supporting more precise targeting and streamlined treatment workflows.
